Our organic geranium essential oil is steam distilled from rose geranium (Pelargonium graveolens). This species of flowering shrub is native to South Africa. Traditionally, rose geranium has been used in perfumes and deodorants. Geranium oil has antifungal, anti-viral, antioxidant, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties. Aromatically the scent resembles a rose, it’s sweet and crisp with earthy notes.

The sweet-smelling oil is extremely soothing, making it an excellent choice for relaxation activities such as yoga and massage.

Uses & Benefits

  • Geranium essential oil is best known for its relaxing, soothing applications. Keep some on-hand for adding to a hot bath at the end of a long day.
  • This oil promotes skin healing and can help to reduce the appearance of acne and other blemishes. Use it as an ingredient in your DIY skincare and beauty products.
  • Use geranium in a blend to create a DIY insect repellent.
  • The feminine, floral scent of geranium makes it an excellent choice for perfume and deodorant.
  • Use in a yoga studio to help encourage a feeling of well-being and calm.
  • Geranium oil may be beneficial for balancing hormones. Blend with clary sage or frankincense for grounding and balancing during PMS or menopause.
  • Geranium oil is an antidepressant and diuretic. It may also promote circulation.

This oil is considered non-toxic, but we want to ensure that basic precautions are taken: never ingest essential oils, always dilute them, and use caution if pregnant or nursing. ArOmis geranium essential oil is certified organic in South Africa and third-party tested for purity. Choose your favorite individual organic essential oils or create your own DIY blends.

Wonderful scent and price. I am very happy with my purchase and intend to purchase this item again. The scent is not over-powering like some other geranium e/os. Thank you so much!

This oil smells so good. I use it as a deodorant and it works great for me. My grandson went on vacation and came back with a lot of bed bug bites and this oil really stopped the itching. A little goes a long way.

Amazing oil! Huge bottle as well. It has lasted us almost a year now and we use it in baths and air diffuser as well.

Purchased this in hopes of helping with insect relief...quality product. Also great for room spray when mixed with some other scents.

This is my first time to use Geranium. I am using it in my DIY eye cream and face cream. It is recommended for good skin.

My on line natural beauty products group has been raving about geranium so I was curious to give it a try. Feels and smells wonderful on my skin. I will definitely order again. Arrived with a cracked cap (no leakage, amazingly!).

Excellent oil, good price for a large quantity. The smell is wonderful, I use this oil for making salves and creams and as my own personal perfume scent. I get many compliments on how the creams smell and turn out.
